Continuous Rains in Dakshina Kannada District: Water Reaching Danger Level at Netravati River

Dakshina Kannada district has received continuous rain, often heavy to moderate for the past few days. Heavy rain has led the water level rising to near danger levels in Dakshina Kannada rivers.

The water level in River Netravathi, is rising due to the heavy rains that has lashed the region since the past few days. The danger mark of the river is 8.5 meters and the water level might reach that height if the intensity of rain increases today.
