Cops Going Beyond Duty Will Now Be Recognised: This is What Commissioner Harsha Plans to Do

November 6: Mangalore city has several Police officers who go beyond their duty and involve in public service. Some cops who come across citizens in  trouble have made possible efforts proving humanity is above their duty.
Recently we have seen traffic cop Puttarama who helped in filling Potholes at Bunts hostel. His video which went viral on social media got praises for his efforts from public as well as from Police Commissioner Harsha.
Recently a video of ASI Krishnakumar of East Traffic Police Station pushing a car which had broken down on National Highway 66 has gone viral and ASI Krishnakumar has been lauded by the public for lending helping hand. The video was shot by Prince Pinto, CEO of My Road runner App who later uploaded it on social media tagging the commissioner.
Commissioner Harsha has now uploaded the viral video on his twitter handle.

Commissioner Harsha has set-up a wall of fame in his office, where a TV highlights the achievements of the staff. Along with this, commissioner has asked question to the citizens in open whatsapp group if the good work by Mangalore police be shown in You Tube series, a blog or a citizen contributed tweet series.
