Covid-19 Norms to be Followed at Kukke Temple During Shashti: No ‘Ede Snana’ This Year Too

The Kukke Subrahmanya temple in Dakshina Kannada has decided to not hold ‘ede snana’ – a ritual of devotees rolling over the prasadam offered to the presiding deity – following the covid protocols. The temple committee decided not to allow ‘ede snana’ which was to be held during the Champa Shashti festival on December 7, 8 and 9 this year too and ensure strict implementation of Covid-19 guidelines announced by the state government.
