Covid Monitoring Unit Set Up At Talapady: Commuters Travelling From Here Have To Get Tested

The Dakshina Kannada District Health Department along with the Police Department has jointly set up a covid monitoring unit at Talapady. The commuters travelling from Kerala will be tested for covid 19 at this unit.
This was done in the wake of increasing covid cases in Kerala. The  checking of passengers was earlier took a long time due to which the police started random checking of vehicles instructing the passengers that next time they have to possess covid 19 negative report before entering Dakshina Kannada district.
