Dakshina Kannada District Receives 65 Thousand Masks For Students Writing SSLC Exams

June 13: Preparations for the SSLC examinations have been tightened amid fears of Covid-19, which includes the process of sending masks and sanitizers from the government to district departments. Dakshina Kannada District has received 65 thousand masks which were sent to all schools for distribution to students.
The SSLC exams will be held from June 25 to July 4 in the state. The government is offering two masks to all children as precautionary measures against Covid-19.
It is mandatory for students to use a sanitizer before entering all exam centers. Students will have a temperature check. Each sanitizer and temperature inspection tool is provided by the government. Four scout-guide teachers and health workers are assigned to each of the test centers.
A total of 30,835 students in Dakshina Kannada district will sit the examination at 95 examination centers. An additional 19 examination centers are reserved and 20 students are allowed to sit the examination in each room as per the government guidelines. If any student has any symptoms of the disease, a special room is arranged for such students. 102 restrooms are being prepared for this purpose. Examination rooms are fully sanitized
