Dakshina Kannada District To Get Second Covid Testing Laboratory Soon

The district laboratory has decided to set up second covid testing laboratory in Puttur. The lab will be set up on the first floor of the Samarthya soudha next to taluk panchayat building. Presently Dakshina Kannada District has one covid testing laboratory at government Wenlock hospital which receives samples from Sullia, Puttur, belthangady. Hence, the second covid testing laboratory will be set up to redduce the time taken in announcing the results. DC Rajendra said that the fully equipped lab will start working within a month.
