The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert on June 17 & 18, predicting significant rainfall accompanied by high-velocity winds in Dakshina Kannada & Udupi districts.
The monsoon had weakening in coastal districts over the last two days. Mangalore experienced intermittent clouds and sunshine. The yellow alert till June 18 has indicated a likelihood of significant rainfall during this period.
