DC Rajendra Plans to Resume Pilikula Kambala After a Gap of Five Years: Know More

The Dakshina Kannada district Deputy Commissioner said that the committee is planning to resume Pilikula Kambala which has not been held for the last five years. The DC also mentioned that there is a plan to hold a river festival here. DC said that three species of animals, zebra, giraffe and elephant, will be added to the Pilikula Biological Park. Along with this, The DC said measures are being chalked out to attract more tourists to beaches in the district by providing better amenities. He said there is a proposal to open a Government Surfing School at Sasihitlu and Tanneerbavi Beaches.
