DC Sasikanth Senthil Visits Flood Affected Area on Boat as Connecting Bridge was Washed Away

August 12: Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil along with Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer R Selvamani and SP Lakshmi Prasad visited the flood-affected Anaru area in Belthangady, on Sunday. Floods had washed away a bridge connecting to Belthangady from Anaru village where 75 families are residing.
National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel also visited the village on a boat and handed over essential commodities to the affected citizens.
Deputy commissioner said that the construction of an alternative road to the village will be looked into. DC Senthil also visited the damaged bridge.
