Defamatory Messages On KMC Doctors in Mangalore Circulated on Whatsapp: Complaint Filed

December 1: A message is being circulated on whatsapp against Dr Narasimha Pai, Dr M N Bhat, Dr R L Kamath alleging that they are involved in fraud/daylight robbery in extracting money from the patients.
The management of KMC Hospitals in Mangalore have filed a case against the defamatory message that is being circulated through WhatsApp.
Regional Chief Operating Officer KMC Hospitals Saghir Siddiqui along with Dr Narasimha Pai and Dr M N Bhat met Police Commissioner Dr Harsha and briefed him about the message defaming the doctors and the hospital which is being circulated in various WhatsApp groups.
After receiving the memorandum, the police commissioner assured them that action will be taken against those circulating the defamatory messages through WhatsApp.
