Derogatory Post on Facebook Regarding Tulunad’s Daivaradhane: Person Arrested

October 29: A derogatory post on tradition  of Daivaradhane followed in Tulunad was seen on Facebook. A complaint was filed stating that the contemptuous remarks about Daivaradhane have hurt the religious sentiments of devotees.
Mangalore South MLA Vedavyas Kamath has also urged the City Commissioner Harsha to take required action against the person behind the post.
Commissioner of Police Dr P S Harsha said that Police personnel attached to Cybercrime, Economic offences, and Narcotics (CEN) police station have arrested a man for posting derogatory comments on Tulunad’s ‘Daivaradhane’.

The arrested has identified the arrested as Mudduraja Kannadiga alias Mudduraja Desai Gowda (37) from Siddapura. The derogatory remarks had been posted from Facebook account, ‘Troll Who Troll Kannadiga’.
