Door to Door Vaccination for Aged, Sick & Disabled Launched in Mangalore: Check Out The Details

A door-to-door vaccination programme which is a joint initiative of the City Corporation, District Administration and Indian Red Cross Society was launched in MCC Limits. Shobha Rajesh, President of the MCC Standing Committee on Finance, Yatish Baikampady, Sukhpal Polali of Red Cross Society and others were present. The vaccination campaign was launched by Mayor Premananda Shetty at Suratkal Mukka area on July 6, Tuesday. Mangalore city corporators from all the wards will involve themselves in the door-to-door visits and vaccination against Covid19. Those above 70 years of age and are unable to visit the vaccination centres will be covered under this scheme.  Mangalore mayor Premananda Shetty said that for the first time in Karnataka, this programme has been undertaken in Mangalore.
