Drive Against Mask Rule Violation Now At Malls & Functions in Mangalore

January 9: Mangalore city corporation (MCC) officials have resumed the drive against people who are flouting mast and social distancing rules in the city. The drive is being  carried out at several places to ensure that people follow the Covid-19 norms.
A team of officials visited various function halls, shopping malls and other places where people gather in large numbers.  This is undertaken after receiving complaints about people not following norms during weddings and other ceremonies.
The officials have visited several halls in Mangalore and collected a penalty  of Rs 15,500 on Thursday and Rs 9500 on Friday as fine for not wearing mask.
