Eid Milad Celebrations: DC Rajendra Issues Guidelines
October 26: Eid Milad will be celebrated the district on October 29, Thursday. Dakshina Kannada DC Dr K V Rajendra has issued guidelines for Eid Milad celebration.
DC said that holding big processions has been prohibited and mass prayers and discourses are not allowed in open places. He even stated that organising cultural events and other functions in Mohallas has been barred. Arrangements should be made in place to wash hands with sanitiser or soap. Maintaining social distance is compulsory, the DC mentioned.
