Fake News on New Lockdown Guidelines: Websites Misguiding The Public to Face Action

Dakshina Kannada DC Rajendra said that there are no changes in the lockdown guidelines and same rules will be followed till May 24. Recently, a website had published that changes have been made in lockdown guidelines and people will be allowed to buy groceries only two days in a week ans also there will be no marriages held after May 24.
DC Rajendra said that this is a fake news and there will be no changes in the guidelines. He also mentioned that action ill be initiated against a website for publishing fake news under the IT and Disaster Management Act.
