Fake Video Being Circulated on Social Media: Mangalore Police Commissioner Shashi Kumar Clarifies

A video has been making rounds in social media with a content reflecting issues on Hijab row claiming it as an incident that occurred in a private college in Mangalore city.

Mangalore Police Commissioner N Shashikumar in a video message has denied the occurrence of any such incident in the city and the video which is being circulated does not belong to the Mangalore city police limits.

He clarified that the old video is being circulated in the name of controversy over hijab and saffron stoles and the public should not heed any rumours that are being circulated. The situation is peaceful and all are adhering to the High Court direction.
