Fake Whatsapp Message Regarding Coronavirus In Mangalorean College: Click To Know

February 14: A fake Whatsapp message is being circulated in whatsapp indicating coronavirus in campus of Sahyadri College in Mangalore.
Principal of Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management Mangalore, R Srinivasa Rao Kunte has requested Cyber Crime, Economic offences and Narcotics to take action against the fake Whatsapp message.
Srinivasa Rao said that a message which read that Sahyadri College campus officials have confirmed a case of coronavirus within the student community. The message is followed by a link which opens a pornograhic image when clicked.
Principal Srinivas Rao clarified that no coronavirus is reported in the college campus and the link in the message opens a vulgar pornographic image. He has requested the police to stop the circulation of this message immediately and take necessary action against the persons involved in this fake message.
