First the ‘Angry Hanuman’ vector art, then ‘Chowkidar Sher Hai’ and now ‘Swamy Koragajja’ art goes viral
July 1: Shashank the son of Jagadish Siddakatte a goldsmith by profession and Shyamala, a homemaker has created a Digital vector art work on Swami Koragajja.
This art was created by Shashank about three months and has gone viral on social media. It is seen that several motorbikes, cars and mobile covers are flaunting this sticker. People have even made this picture as their Profile picture on social media platforms. T-shirts were brought out with this image.
Shashank Acharya, a diploma holder in design owns a design studio in CarStreet, and was inspired to draw this picture while listening to a devotional song based on Swami Koragajja, one of the most worshiped demigods of Tulunadu. Shashank mentioned that it took him one full day to complete this art. When he sent the image to his friends, in no time it turned into a rage as people started changing it into their DP and status picture.
This is not the first time when a Mangalorean artist’s work has gone viral on social media. Prior to this, the Angry Hanuman poster designed by artist Karan Acharya and digital vector art work ‘Chowkidar Sher Hai’ on PM Modi by Jeevan Acharya both have won the hearts of people and have even received appreciation from PM Narendra Modi.
This is an example to say that Mangalore has great artists who can win hearts with their artwork.
