Five Check-Posts Set up at DK District-Kerala Border to Check The Spread of Covid-19 Sub-Variant JN.1 Cases.

Five check-posts have been set up in Dakshina Kannada district on the Karnataka-Kerala border in order to check the spread of Covid-19 sub-variant JN.1 cases. Measures are taken at the check posts at Mangalore,  Talapady, Bantwal-Saradka, Puttur-Swarga, Puttur-Sullia Padavu and Sullia-Jalsur to create awareness.

District Health Officer Dr H R Thammaiah informed that the Health Department has set a target of 321 tests per day of which 100 are rapid tests and 221 are RT-PCR tests.
