Food Streets to be Opened at Three Places in Mangalore: Here Are The Details
The Dakshina Kannada district administration, Mangalore City Corporation (MCC), and the Mangalore Smart City Limited (MSCL) have been preparing for the establishment of food streets at three key areas within the city. The first food street, featuring around 27 eateries, will be inaugurated in the vicinity of Mangala Stadium in the city.
Mayor Sudheer Shetty Kannur said that MSCL will be responsible for executing the project. He also mentioned that locations for two additional food streets have also been identified in the city. Locations have been identified near Mahaveer Circle (Pumpwell) and at Sharbathkatte near Karnataka Polytechnic to open food streets. All facilities, including drinking water, electricity, and drainage, will be provided while setting up the food street in a systematic manner. Priority will be given to cleanliness and all facilities, as the aim is to attract a large number of people. The work is expected to be completed very soon.
