Former DC Sasikanth Senthil was Back to Mangalore: This is What He Said About Entering Electoral Politics

October 3: S Sasikanth Senthil, former Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada District had recently resigned from Indian Administrative Services (IAS) was in  Mangalore during the inauguration of ‘Gandhi 150 Chintana Yatre’ at Sri Brahma Baidarkala Garodi on Wednesday, October 2.

Senthil while speaking to reporters said that he had no plans to enter electoral politics. He mentioned that he is working at the grass root-level, trying to understand the problems faced by people in a better manner and solve their problems.
Senthil said that the decision to tender resignation was purely personal and took this decision as it was unethical for him to merely continue looking at the current issues that are bothering the country. He mentioned that there is no change in his decision even thought the government is yet to accept his resignation. It will take its own procedure and time, he added.
