Forty Metric Tonnes Liquid Medical Oxygen From Bahrain Reaches New Mangalore Port Trust

Forty metric tonnes liquid medical oxygen has reached New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) port on May 5, Wednesday. The liquid medical oxygen was carried by The Indian Navy vessel of INS Talwar which sailed from Manama in Bahrain. In addition to oxygen there are medical equipment’s required for the treatment of Covid patients also in the vessel.

The medical oxygen is donated by the government of Kingdom of Bahrain to Indian Red Cross Society to overcome the current pandemic situation in the country which will likely be distributed to the hospitals in coastal Karnataka.
