Ganja Peddling Increasing in Mangalore: Police Successfully Arrest People Involved
September 18: The Mangalore South Anti Rowdy Squad personnel arrested three persons and seized 5 kg of ganja. The arrested were selling ganja in two different locations, Kankanady Railway Station and near a hall at Arkula.
The police arrested Farooq T P alias Goods Farooq (51), a resident of Bunder, near Kankanady Railway Station and seized 2 kg ganja worth Rs 30,000, a car worth Rs 6 lakh and mobile phone worth Rs 20,000. The police also arrested Abid D (19) of Manjeshwara Kadavu and Juber alias Jubbi alias Shan (22) of Kadambar Kajekodi and seized 3 kg ganja worth Rs 45,000, a motorbike and three mobile phones. The duo was selling ganja near a hall at Arkula.
