Girl From Kundapur Displays Honesty By Returning Money Found on Road: Receives Gift From Police Officer

Dhanvi Poojary, student from Kundapur handed over a bundle of currency notes which she found on the road to the police. Dhanvi, a class ten student of Don Bosco School had found a bundle of Rs 500 notes worth Rs 11,000 near a super market at Trasi while on her way to school. She duly handed over the cash to the Gangolli police with a request to entrust it to its rightful owner. The police managed to trace the owner and hand over the cash. The station house officer then gifted a study desk to the girl.

This act of honesty has won much praise. As a token of appreciation, Kundapur Station House Officer Vinay Korlahalli has gifted a study table to the girl.
