Good News: Holidays Approved for Schools from Oct 1st to Oct 15th for Mangalore Dasara

September 20: Mangalore South MLA Vedavyas Kamath said that the state government’s Primary and secondary school education minister Suresh Kumar has given Dasara holidays to Dakshina Kannada district primary and secondary schools from October 1 to 15.
It can be recalled that MLA Kamath had recently appealed to Minister Suresh Kumar in person to provide Dasara holidays from September 30 to October 16.

Speaking on the matter, MLA Kamath said that the Dasara holiday would commence on October 1 to enable children, parents, teachers and non-teaching staff to participate in the rituals in the Devi temples and participate Dasara celebrations.
