Hearing On Mangalore Riots Postponed: Next Date Will Be Announced Soon

August 11: Udupi DC G Jagadeesha, who is heading the magisterial inquiry into the police firing in connection with CAA protest violence on December 19 in Mangalore had asked the public with evidence or any information about the incident to submit to the assistant commissioner’s court hall of Mini Vidhana Soudha in Mangalore on August 11, Tuesday.
However, since Minister Basavaraj Bommai is scheduled to visit the district on Tuesday, August 11, the hearing has been postponed. Jagadeesha said that the next date of the hearing will be announced soon.
This will be the last opportunity for those willing to appear before the magistrate to submit documents related to the incident.
