Heavy Rain Forecast For Coastal Districts: Orange Alert Issued For Next Three Days
A low-pressure area over the East Arabian Sea off the Karnataka coast is expected to trigger heavy to very heavy rainfall in coastal Districts until July 18. The IMD has issued an orange alert Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and also Uttara Kannada districts which will receive widespread rainfall along with string wind for the next three days. The isolated places are likely to experience extremely heavy rainfall till July 18. The fishermen are warned not to venture into the sea for fishing.
