Heavy Rain in DK After Orange Alert Declared: Will There be Floods in Belthangady Taluk Again??

September 26: IMD has issued an orange alert in Dakshina Kannada and the region is likely to get heavy rain ranging between 115.6 mm and 204.4 mm rainfall on Thursday, September 26.
Rain in Dakshina Kannada from September 25 has resulted in an increase in the flow of water into rivulets in Charmadi village of Belthangady taluk.

The Charmadi-Mugulidadka Road was damaged due to the flash floods.
The river in Kankkinje of Belthangady taluk is flowing at danger level and there is a threat of flood in Didupe, Pharlani, Antara, Kolambe, Kukkavu villages in the taluk. The fear of floods has worried the residents of Belthangady taluk.
