Heavy Rain Likely In Mangalore: Orange Alert Issued
July 3: The Indian meteorological department has issued an orange alert in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada as these districts are likely to receive heavy rain along with thunder and lightning on July 3.
Mangalore received heavy rain on July 2, Thursday.
The department has also warned fishermen against venturing into the sea. The air current on the sea surface is expected to cause heavy rainfall on the coastline of Karnataka as well as in the Western Ghats.
