Heavy Rain & Wind Lashes DK District: NDRF Team Reaches Mangalore to Face Cyclone Tauktae

As an effect of cyclone Tauktae, , the coast is likely to receive heavy accompanied with thunder, lightning and strong wind which may exceed 204.5 mm. Mangalore has been receiving continuous rain from the wee hours of Saturday, May 15. The meteorological department has issued a red alert in Mangalore & Udupi from May 14 to 16.
A team of 20 members of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has arrived in Mangalore on the night of Friday, May 14, in order to deal with the natural calamity that might occur due to Tauktae cyclone effect.
