Heavy Rains Continue in Dakshina Kannada & Udupi Leading to Landslides & Flooding In Many Areas

Incessant heavy rains continue in Dakshina Kannada & Udupi district which has led to landslide & flooding in several areas. There were many small landslides and trees fell in several places. The DC of both districts declared holidays to schools & colleges for two days. All taluks of Dakshina Kannada received excess of the average rainfall recorded for the day.

The IMD has issued an orange alert for the next two days, heavy rain in isolated places in the district.
