Helplessness of Not Being Able to Vote: Pregnant Lady’s Comment Gets Response on Facebook Page

November 13: Election for Council of  Mangalore City Corporation was held on November 12.
Mangalore North MLA Bharath Shetty had posted a video on his page after casting his vote. A pregnant lady from Valencia commented about her helplessness of not being able to vote as she was 9 months pregnant and could not travel to Derebail to vote.

A Noble citizen Prashanth Raj immediately responded to her comment and said he would take her to the polling booth in his car. The lady along with her parents visited the booth and exercised their democratic right of voting.
This move was appreciated all over social media and MLA Bharath Shetty applauded Prashanth Raj for this kind cause.
