‘Hold cleanliness drive with voters’: Cleanliness Ambassador for Dakshina Kannada

Sheena Shetty, the cleanliness ambassador for Dakshina Kannada writes to the Deputy Commissioner and the Zilla Panchayat chief executive officer to organise a mass cleanliness drive in the district.
Shetty has requested to organise the drive in all 230 gram panchayats and 10 ULBs in Dakshina Kannada in order to create awareness on exercising franchise as well as clear the garbage thrown in open spaces in the district.
To motivate the voters to \to exercise their franchise, a one-day mass cleanliness drive should be organised and all the trash collected should be sent to solid waste management units to dispose of it scientifically.
He appealed to the DC and the Chief Executive Officer to make villages and urban areas free from garbage by organising cleanliness drives and to motivate the citizens to vote.
