Home Guards to be Likely deployed to Keep a Close Watch on People Violating Covid Norms in DK District

Deputy Commissioner Dr Rajendra K V said that there is a need for disciplinary action and imposition of penalty on those violating Covid  guidelines in the district. The DC mentioned that Home Guards will likely be deployed in MCC limits to make people follow Covid guidelines on the lines of the Marshalls introduced by BBMP. The District administration is mulling deploying Home Guards who will impose penalty if anyone is found flouting covid guidelines such as wearing mask in public places, maintaining social distancing.
