Huge Ancient Well Suspected to be Century Old Discovered At Dongerkeri Junction

Another huge well which is suspected to be 100 years old is discovered at Dongerkeri Junction during work near the peepal tree. The well is arond 50 ft deep and is built using red laterite stones. Sources informed that in 1917, the localities used to take water from the well, but after the top water was supplied the well was closed by officers by a concrete slab. This is the third well found in Mangalore during the work. First, in September 2020, a well was found at Hampankatta Junction near Tajmahal restaurant, and in June 2021, a huge well was found at Navabharath Circle.
