Increase In Demand For Masks In Mangalore: Not Mandatory For Healthy Persons – DC Sindhu

March 17: It has been observed that there is an increase in demand for mouth masks as the number of people wearing mouth mask in recent times has increased.

Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Sindhu  Rupesh said that a healthy person need not wear ‘mouth mask’ in the wake of the coronavirus scare. She mentioned that wearing a mask is not mandatory for all but only those who are sick and suffering from symptoms of coronavirus should wear a mouth mask.
DC Sindhu also ensured that measures are being taken to ensure that there is no shortage of masks in the district and the officials have been asked to keep a tab on the price of masks.
