Increasing Drug Menace in Mangalore: Commissioner Harsha to Start this Initiative with Schools & Colleges

August 31: Drug menace is increasing in the city especially among the college students. Two ganja peddlers were arrested near Surathkal Railway Station on Thursday, August 29. The police seized 1.20 kg of ganja from the men.
Mangalore City Police Commissioner PS Harsha said that after the Ganesha festival, the police would be organising Campus Connect programme. Commissioner Harsha mentioned that in this programme, he along with other police officials will be visiting various schools and colleges in the city to create awareness against the ill-effects of drugs.
Commissioner also mentioned that the public should join hands with the police and become warriors against drugs by informing about the source of supply.
