Indian Medical Association Launches an Project in Mangalore to Provide Free Health Guidance to Public

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Mangalore branch has launched an innovative project to provide free health guidance to the general public from July 3rd. IMA Mangalore branch president Dr Venugopal said that the public can dial 7022283999 to get free advice on health. Suitable guidance will be provided through the specialist doctors after collecting the phone numbers of the callers. The service will be available from 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday.

However, doctors will not prescribe any medicine or treatment for the disease over the phone. They will guide on the availability of medical facilities and suggest suitable doctors.
