India’s Costliest Clock Tower is in Mangalore! Costs Rs 1 Crore!!
December 10: Mangalore City has got back its iconic clock tower. The cost of it is whooping 1 crore.
Was this even needed in the current era is the question coming to every Mangalore citizen’s mind.
Mangalore City Ex Mayor Kavitha Sanil had approved this project during the term of Ex MLA J R Lobo and is now complete.
The old clock tower was brought down in 1994 and now after 25 years it has come up again after many protests of not needing it at the cost of Tax payers money.
