Innovative ‘Touchless Theertha Dispenser’ For Temples: Check This Out

June 22: After lockdown relaxation several changes have been made. Social distancing is being strictly followed as per government guidelines.
Temples have opened for the devotees but guidelines like no offering flowers, sevas to the deity are being implemented.
Santhosh an assistant professor in the Department of Information Science and Engineering , NMAMIT, Nitte, has developed an innovative ‘touchless theertha dispenser’ for temples. The touchless theertha dispenser provides the advantages of social distancing. ‘ To use this innovative dispenser one needs to just place a cupped hand near the dispenser output and the device will automatically sense the palm and dispense theertha.
This innovative device was inaugurated at the Mahaganapathi Temple of Nitte campus by NMAMIT principal Dr Niranjan Chiplunkar.
