International Kite Festival in Mangalore from January 17 2020

December 24: Mangalore International Kite Festival 2020 will be held at Panambur beach, from January 17 to 19 2020 after a gap of two years.

The kite festival will be begin with a workshop on January 17 morning followed by the inauguration at 4 p.m. This time the kite will be flown in the evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. under floodlights. Visitors from more than twenty five countries will be given the Karavali’s famed Muttale traditional cap as mementos by the organisers.
The Kite festival will be held  immediately after the much larger International Kite Festival at Gujarat, which will end on January 14. The international visitors who will arrive for the grand event in Gujarat, are also expected to participate in Mangalore.
