Is there a Mistake in Your Name & Address in the Voters’ List? Here is a Chance to Correct It: Check Out

September 2: Electors’ Verification Programme (EVP) Organised by the Dakshina Kannada district administration which provides an opportunity to the voters to correct their names, address and related details in the voters’ list.

Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat chief executive officer Dr R Selvamani while speaking during the programme said that several complaints are being received from the public on the mistakes in voters’ list. He mentioned that the people can utilize this opportunity provided by the Election Commission of India, to rectify the errors through the booth-level officers who will carry out door-to-door visits.
EVP will be held from September 1 to October 15. The voters can correct, delete or add names to the voters’ list.
