Is There a Spike in Covid Cases in Udupi District? This is What DC Jagadeesha Says

March 3: Udupi district deputy commissioner G Jagadeesha said it appears that Covid cases have spiked in the district recently and people have to mandatorily follow the covid guidelines. The DC Mentioned that masks should be worn, sanitizers should be used and social distance should be maintained without fail. People arriving from Kerala and Maharashtra should mandatorily undergo RT-PCR tests and produce Covid negative reports, the DC added.
He mentioned that action will be taken against educational institutes that violate Covid regulations. Action will be taken against those who do not wear masks and maintain social distance during gatherings and celebrations.
