Jal Jeevan Mission Projects Likely to be Ready by March 2023: Minister Suresh Kumar

Dakshina Kannada district minister Sunil Kumar said that all the 468 works initiated under the Jal Jeevan Mission in the district will be completed by March 2023. The minister said that Rs 310 crore has been released to the district under the Jal Jeevan Mission, to provide potable drinking water in sufficient quantity, through individual household tap connections. Out of 468 works, 168 have been completed, and household tap connections have been provided to 28,000 households. The remaining 58,000 households will get water connections by March next year.
