Jungle Lodges & Resorts Likely to Come up at Sasihithlu Beach: This is Exciting

The district administration, in association with Jungle Lodges and Resorts (JLR), is considering setting up of Sasihithlu Surfing Jungle Lodges at Sasihithlu. DK DC Rajendra mentioned that  the project is expected to come up on 29 acres of deemed forest land, without felling trees or destroying the surroundings, and by adhering to the CRZ norms. Initially, about 10 pre-fabricated cottages will be set up. Once the coastal zone map is approved as per the CRZ-2019 notification, the jungle lodges with prefabricated structures will come up. The Sasihithlu Beach will be developed on the eco-tourism concept.

Also, the district administration is committed to improving basic amenities for surfing at Mulki, Panambur, and Sasihithlu beaches. There are plans to set up food stalls at Panambur Beach.
