KCCI Appeals District Administration to Relax Certain Lockdown Restrictions Post June 7

The Kanara Chamber of Commerce of Industry (KCCI) has appealed the Dakshina Kannada district administration to relax certain lockdown restrictions after June 7. A a memorandum has been submitted to district minister Kota Srinivas Poojary requesting the district to permit all commercial establishment to function with a 50% workforce. The KCCI has also requested the government to permit all industries to function and since the present bank timings are inconvenient, it may be revised to 8 am to 12 pm to suit both the trade and general public.
KCCI president Isaac Vas said that while considering lifting up the lockdown, the government may revise the office timings with reduced working hours. He also mentioned that the weekend curfew can be imposed for a few more weeks.
Mr Isaac vas said that the trade and commerce are hit hard due to lockdown and  has requested the government to relax certain lockdown restrictions.
