KSRTC Junction at Bejai to be Developed Under The Premium FAR (Floor Area Ratio): Click to Know

The KSRTC Junction at Bejai will be developed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.9 crore under the Premium FAR (floor area ratio) Fund. A decision in this regard was taken by the Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) at a council meeting chaired by mayor Sudheer Shetty Kannur recently. The mayor said tenders have been invited for the development of the junction and the lowest bidder will be awarded the contract to develop the junction.

While one bidder quoted 16.8% less than the tender cost of Rs 1.77 crore, in another bid the amount was 13.4% less than the tender cost. Hence, the contract will be awarded to the bidder, who has quoted the lowest amount, the mayor said. Chief whip of the MCC council, Premanand Shetty said the objective of developing the junction will be to ensure free flow of traffic.
