Kukke Subrahmanya Temple to Launch The ‘Green Kukke’/ ‘Hasiru Kukke’ Campaign Soon: Know More

Kukke Sri Subrahmanya temple has decided to launch the ‘Hasiru Kukke’ campaign in order to make Kukke village greener. The campaign will be launched by muzrai minister Kota Shrinivas Poojari in front of the temple, after rituals are performed on July 13, Tuesday. The Kukke temple in association with 14 organisations, will plant 2,000 saplings of various species of trees at 14 locations in Kukke village surrounding the temple. Saplings of flowers, fruits and medicinal plants will be planted. The organisations which join hands with the temple in this campaign will also be taking up the responsibilities of protecting the saplings they plant. The saplings will be planted on the road from the entrance of temple to Kumaradhara, the Adi Subrahmanya temple premises and also few other places. The temple authority will make arrangements to protect the saplings by erecting fences.
