Landslide at Shiradi Ghat: Movement of Heavy Vehicles Restricted Till Further Notice

Landslide was reported at Shiradi Ghat Donigal of Sakleshpur taluk on National Highway 75 connecting Mangalore and Bengaluru near here on Thursday, July 14 due to heavy rainfall. The road was slightly damaged. PWD minister C C Patil had visited the spot. Now, a major landslide is reported from the spot.

The administration has restricted the movements of heavy vehicles on the ghat, informed Assistant Commissioner Pratheek Bayal.
