Landslip At Railway Tracks Near Padil Bypass: Train Services Partially Suspended

September 21: A mudslip at the railway tracks on the Padil bypass stretch took place at 1.30 pm on September 20, Sunday.
Officials informed that this will not affect movement of passenger train services, but movement of trains, to and fro, Mysuru side will be affected. Trains, goods and passenger on this section, now have to make a long way to reach Mangalore Junction for the reversal of the locomotive which will take 30minutes, the trains can move towards Hassan or Kawar.
The Bangalore-Karwar-Bangalore Express special (06585/06586), would run on this diverted route till the track is restored.
